It’s a shocking day if you own or someday plan to own an electric car.
John Felder of Cayman Automotive unveiled a charging station for electric cars today (Tuesday, 23 June) at Governor’s Square.
A solar panel collects energy and sends it back into the grid. Then it’s ready to use whenever someone pulls up to the station to recharge their battery. If you buy your electric car from Cayman Automotive, you’ll be given a key card which you can use to recharge for free.
Each charge lasts about 40 miles and if you keep charging it, it’s possible you might never pay for gas.
