A group of children from New York City are getting the trip of a lifetime. They’re on island with the Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit organization that gives children the chance to get out of the city and have some new adventures.
As part of the week-long program, the kids will be staying with local host families. Living with a local family definitely enriches these children’s Cayman experience, but it seems like they’re becoming an important part of their host families as well.
Organizers have a busy week planned for the group. These 10 children will be visiting sites like the turtle farm and the skate park and learning some new things.
Cayman 27′s intern Cori Myles caught up with the children on their whirlwind tour of the island and brings us the report.
