Playing with purpose

The Men’s National Football Team plays its final two World Cup qualifiers over the next two weeks.

Even though they can’t advance through to the next stage, there’s still a lot to play for. And on Tuesday, Cayman 27’s Kevin Morales stopped by practice to take a closer look at the team and its players. And find out how the team can improve to become one of the better teams in the Caribbean.

So Carl Brown is blaming his team’s lack of preparation for their poor performances! But he is responsible for preparing the team. Another terrible excuse, I really hope the men’s program can re-build and rebound after this World Cup Campaign, every other sport in Cayman is excelling except men’s football and football is our national sport, we must fix this, it is time for a change.

One question to you Ron and all the others here in Cayman that's jumping down Carl Brown's throat yes its his job to prepare the team but how can he prepare a world cup squad for world cup games with 12 players training with 5 of those being the x pacts you guys rebel about then without the x pacts the number at training was reduced to 7 until the last training before the games we have a full squad at training tell me what is the coaches to do with 7 players before you guys sit in your offices and couches and criticize you should have just made stop by the training sessions to see for your self the numbers at training then you would have something different to say about these results maybe you guys didn't believe Coach Brown when he said players not training well you guys can ask the Honorable Mark Scotland cause he made an unannounced stop by the training and ask him what he saw maybe you will believe him over the Coach Brown

+ Well it is his job to get the players there, and if he can't then resign if he can't get the job done, and take Jeff Webb and Hon. Mark Scotland with him as they were the ones that choose not to include the Cayman players in the first palce, but CIFA National Coaches and Executive continue to use illegal players on our National Teams but were stopped from using the illegal players (Men and U17 girls were stop at Int'l competitions) and now they want the Caymanians they did not want in the first place to now come and support/play for them. So why should they now support/play for these people when these same people did not want them in the first place? So the question is, If Coach Brown cant get players to support him at training (this is not in question, Carl has said this many times) should he resign or just continue to collect a pay check for not doing do his job, which is to prepare our National Team?
