Three men jailed for a 2009 murder get their convictions overturned, but one of them is quickly arrested in connection with another killing.
Patrick McField and Brandon Ebanks walked free from court this afternoon following their successful appeal. The third man, Osbourne Douglas, was also freed on appeal but was rearrested immediately on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the death of Jason Christian who was shot and killed on Crewe Road in September 2011.
The judges did not give their reasons for overturning the convictions, but were told they will release the findings in written form at a later date.
