CDB: Economic growth important this year

Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) President Warren Smith says with recovery from the global recession now underway, this is the perfect time to focus on building better economies.

“If our economies are not growing, the opportunity, the resources to be able to address poverty is going to be absent. So that economic growth is a primary focus now of our bank and a number of other financial institutions that are operating in our region,” Mr. Smith said.
