Mobile voting ends

One leg of the referendum ends today, 12 July 2012. The trailer made its last stop in West Bay today. Those who applied for mobile voting there could cast their ballots.

The elections office says 89 people in George Town voted yesterday, being just under 85% of those who applied.

The Elections Office is correcting that number from 51 to 61 in clarification for Bodden Town. Three quarters of those registered there for mobile voting turned up on Tuesday.
In total there were 344 applicants for mobile voting and the Elections Office says that number is lower than in previous elections.
