Police are investigating a death at the Treasure Island complex on Seven Mile Beach.
Just after midnight, detectives were called to the resort after the body of a man was found floating in the pool.
Officers were this morning at the scene carrying out routine enquirers and had closed the pool off from customers.
A spokesperson for the RCIPS said: “At around midnight, Police were called to Treasure Island where a deceased male was found in the swimming pool. His identity is yet to be established.
“An investigation is under way.”
