No decision yet on VCB

Jamaica sprint star Veronica Campbell-Brown remains in limbo while waiting for the International Association of Athletics Federations (I.A.A.F.) to make a decision.

The world governing body for athletics is set to decide whether the punishment for Campbell-Brown recommended by the Jamaica Athletics Administration Association will stand.

The J.A.A.A. in October recommended Campbell-Brown be given a public warning after testing positive for a banned substance in May at the Jamaica International Invitational.

The IAAF was supposed to have 45 days to determine whether the J.A.A.A.’s recommendation was acceptable, but that deadline has passed.

If accepted, the public warning would mean Campbell-Brown would immediately be eligible for competition.
