Another visitor to the island has died in a water-related incident. The 62-year-old man was snorkelling around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (4 March), off of Coconut Bay Villas, North West Point, West Bay.

More cases revealed of mysterious deaths of green iguanas. Dead bodies of the reptiles have been found in South Sound and Crewe Road and until the Department of Environment can work out what is causing the deaths, they are warning people not to eat the animals.

An indigenous Rock Iguana in Cayman Brac has been killed. The female tagged as number 47 and known as "Tip Top" was hit by a car in the Cotton Tree Bay area of West End.

As a regional outbreak persists, Medical Officer of Health, Dr.Kiran Kumar has confirmed seven cases of dengue fever. Of the seven cases, three have reported a travel history to endemic countries and four have no travel history, suggesting the dengue was transmitted locally. Further investigations point to West Bay.

The first murder victim of the year Robert Mackford Bush was laid to rest on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday friends and family of Andrew Baptist gathered at the Boatswains Bay Presbyterian Church for his funeral. Meanwhile police continue their search for the people responsible for the recent murder spree that led to the deaths of Robert Bush, Andrew Baptist, Preston Rivers, Jason Christian and Asher McGaw.
