Best of luck in your fundraising efforts ! So good to see some positive news and I hope many local businesses offer some form of sponsorship. Good luck to all boxers in future matches but special shout outs to Chad and Aaron from your fans in Canada !

All the facts of this case have still not been determined but with the little information available this is what I have to say. Whilst Planning does not require a developer to erect a fence around the quarry/lake it would have been good judgement on the part of the developer to do it just out of concern for the new homeowners especially considering that the development is ongoing and not complete. Point in fact is this the lake is a part of the development, suppose the development was finished would people expect it to be fenced off? NO. Which brings me to my second point children should never be unsupervised, especially small children so where was his parents? Children should never be left to monitor children especially on the road or outside the home point blank. People place too much responsibility on older kids when they are just kids themselves adult supervision in required at all times and we as parents have to ensure that protective and preventative measures are put in place for our children no matter what. No just because other kids are running around playing in a quarry should we allow ours to do it...NO. Why were they playing there in the first place? That's irresponsible. When the development is complete and the lake is there for everyone's enjoyment the same thing could happen and people wouldnt demand the lake be fenced off then. It boils down to parents being preoccupied and irresponsible. I pray for this family and I hope his mother can find peace. Aiden is an angel.

Hello Ms. Jackie Doak,

It is pure imagination for you to think that you and the Dart group has the right to decide whether the deal goes through or not. Please realize that this is no ordinary deal going through; and it is not at all contingent nor does it not hang on whether you, Mr. Dart, or Mr. McKeeva Bush decides that we get value for money or NOT!
This is not about money it is about our heritage, our right to make decisions for our country and most of all our right to make decisions for ourselves and not anyone of the above.

Caymanians are vigorously pursuing our right to make our own political decisions and will approve or disapprove what kind of development is harmful and what is helpful to our society and its people.
Its time for you Ms. Doak to respect the will and the wishes of the people of the Cayman Islands and understand that throwing money around is not caught by everyone, there are just some people in this country that are just NOT UP FOR SALE!
And there are just some things that are just not up for sale like the WEST BAY ROAD!
The West Bay Road is an important and integral part of our history dating back for centuries and I'll be doggone if you Ms. Doaks, Mr.Dart, orMr. McKeeva Bush is going to have your way where this particular piece of our History is concerned. The sooner you understand that our pristine piece of our History is not up for sale, the better.

The sooner we get an understanding on this matter, the better for all of us especially you and your corporate group of bullying giants.

Since you have no respect for the will or wishes of the people of the Cayman Islands I guess you are subject to a rude awakening, There are some of us that are not sitting in the Legislature that
make good and informed decisions for this country and its people, and our group of think tanks does not include elected officials and neither do they have the last say on serious issues like this one. Your biggest mistake is to get into bed with this UDP government whispering in your ear that "they will give you everything you ask for". No!, that's just a sales pitch to use you for your money 'cause there are thousands of Caymanians waiting outside to deal with this unhealthy relationship that you have built with this present government, its time to slack off, listen to the people, 'cause you will be in for the biggest fight ever on this issue. Don't think for one minute that your money is going to buy your way this time. This is an all together different ball game with different players and the corporate and political bullies who continue to bully; well the end results is they always get their legs broken in several places! not physically but Theoretically speaking.

I am deeply sorry for the lost of life of this full of energy young boy. My sympathy goes out to the parents and families. I listen to the news and was a bit concern that all the blame was going towards the property owner and not towards the individual who was caring for him. using the word greed towards the property owner is a little off key I think. I understand your frustration at a time as this and I hope the Lord will take you through it.
