Extra Hour Given to Liquor License Holders
Posted Fri, Nov 20th 2009, 18:15(Grand Cayman - CITN) -
This New Year’s Eve valid liquor licence holders can extend their opening hours.
Liquor Licensing Board Chairman, Mitchell Welds, has confirmed that liquor licensees will be permitted one additional business hour beyond regular closing times, as specified by their licences.
“The extension applies to all seven categories of holders,” Mr. Welds said, “but different categories have different closing times.”
He also reminded business owners that licence stipulations will still be in effect. “Liquor sales and the playing of music must cease during the last ten minutes of permitted opening hours and all customers must vacate the premises before closing.”
