Crown Says Martin Has Motive
Posted Thu, Dec 17th 2009, 17:58(Grand Cayman - CITN) -
The Crown Counsel says Randy Martin has a motive for killing 21-year-old Sabrina Schirn because he held a grudge against her. However, the motive hinges on the written police statement of a witness who didn’t want to testify in court.
The trial is in its fourth week, and so far the Crown has only given opportunity for Randy Martin to commit the crime. But now a witness statement says Sabrina was once involved with Randy Martin’s brother Fernando Martin being shot by Sheldon Brown. The statement also said that Randy once held Sabrina’s head and pushed it into a bowl of oxtail. Crown Counsel, Cheryl Richards says this was the motive for killing Sabrina.
