Premier and AG clash

It's no secret the current Auditor General has ruffled more than a few feathers with politicians and the civil service.
Auditor General Dan Duguay is currently fighting to keep his job. On Friday (29 January) the deadline closed for new applicants.
However, Cayman's premier says Dan Duguay must go. The Governor’s office says careful consideration will be given to who will sit on the independent hiring panel to ensure impartiality and openness.
