Man accused of raping man denied bail

Leonard Antonio Ebanks who was charged by police with the rape of another man will remain behind bars.
His lawyers were denied their bail application in Summary Court. They will now have to take the application to the Grand Court.
Police claim the 39-year-old attacked and sexually assaulted a 31-year-old man on 9 January. In addition to rape, Leonard Ebanks was also charged with threatening violence and disorderly conduct.
