Estella Murder Trial: Day 5
Posted Fri, Feb 5th 2010, 18:10(Grand Cayman - CITN) -
WARNING: Day five of the murder case against the two men accused of killing Estella Scott-Roberts leads to graphic details.
Forensic pathologist, Dr. Hyma, took the stand where he revealed his findings while describing the remains of Estella.
Since Tuesday (2 February) media have not been able to fully report on the trial because attorneys were engaged in a voir dare. A voir dare is a hearing that allows attorneys to question witnesses to determine whether their evidence can be used in the trial.
Justice Anthony Smellie heard closing remarks from both the Prosecution and Defence about the five witnesses who gave evidence. Justice Smellie says he will decide if he will allow their testimony and let the court know on Monday (8 February).
News 27’s Kenneth Bryan has the graphic details of Day 4’s proceedings in the video above.
