There’s a new H1N1 vaccine just for people with egg allergies. It’s called Celvapan.
Starting next Tuesday (2 March) it will be available at the Public Health Department. The vaccine will be administered between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and people who would like to get the shot are being encouraged to come between that time since the vial has to be used within 3-hours.
Two doses are required at least three weeks apart and the vaccine is not recommended for babies under 6-months-old.
