Kirk store close early Saturday

Kirk stores around the island will close early Saturday (27 February) to honor the memory of one of Cayman's founding pioneers –Captain Charles Kirkconnel
On Saturday afternoon, stores including the supermarket, Kirk Freeport, Kirk Marine and Kirk Beverages will all shut down at 1 p.m. to allow staff to attend Captain Charles' funeral.
The official funeral for Captain Charles takes place this Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church on Pedro Castle Road.
The burial will be at garden of reflections cemetery, on Prospect Road.
