The death toll of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked Chile early Saturday morning has risen to over 700.
Thousands were left homeless after the massive earthquake struck 56 miles northeast of the city of Concepcion.
Cayman does have a small population of people from Chile and News 27 crews caught up with one woman who says she is just happy that her family in Chile is ok for now.
According to the US Geological Survey, the Chile earthquake is tied for the fifth strongest quake since the year 1900.
