If you're a resident who wants a visa to visit the United Kingdom, you can now apply for one on Grand Cayman.
The Governor's Office reports that the UK Border Agency realizes the challenges faced by those living in the Caribbean who want a UK visa.
Starting today (27 July), once a month a mobile biometric clinic will be held in Grand Cayman to help those who in the past had to go to Jamaica to get a UK visa.
The clinic is held in the lobby of the Smith Road Centre.
Customers wishing to apply will be required to apply online by visiting www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk and then book a biometric clinic appointment by visiting www.visainfoservices.com.
The biometric clinic service fee is US$150 per applicant.
Please note that this relates to applicants applying for visas for the United Kingdom only and not the United States.
