10:30 PM UPDATE: One dead and one injured in WB shootings

One man has died and another is currently being treated in the Cayman Islands Hospital after two shooting incidents in West Bay.
A police spokesperson says “About 7:26 p.m. police received a report that a man had been shot within a house in Malliwinas Way, West Bay. He was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital but was found to be dead on arrival.”
The spokesperson continued, “In the second incident, which occurred about 7:33 p.m. on Capt Osbert Road, a man was injured in another shooting incident. He was taken by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he is currently being treated for leg injuries.”
Police are on the scene of both incidents and enquiries are ongoing.
Police also say they had a report of what was believed to be shots heard at Zodiac Club in George Town. Officers checked out the scene but nothing confirmed. A police spokesperson says it "looks like a false alarm."
