A grand court judge found Jeffers guilty of the murder of Marcus Ebanks and the attempted murder of four others in February.
The 2009 Bonaventure shooting in West Bay also paralysed then 14-year-old Adryan Powell.
The appeals tribunal is expected to make a decision next week.
A man arrested after a car crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old has been released on police bail. Zak Quappe died when he lost control of the Ford Taurus his was driving early Saturday (18 May) morning. A Mitsubishi Lancer driven by a 23 year old man also crashed on South Church Street near to the Sand Cay condominiums.
